- Backup PolicyA solid IT Backup Policy can keep your company’s vital records safe, even if the worst happens. This policy defines how your company backs up its file servers, mail server, web server, and other critical systems. It safeguards your company’s mission-critical data from loss or destruction in the event of an equipment failure, intentional data destruction or disaster.
- Data Archival PolicyIn the same vein of backing up your data to keep it safe, your company will need an IT Data Archival Policy. This policy defines the methods for archiving, retaining, and disposing of confidential and proprietary information used within the course of daily business activities. As large amounts of information makes its way into, and out of your company, you will want to ensure proper handling and disposal to protect your organization from liability.
