What was the problem you were having before you discovered our service?
We are a relatively small but multinational public company. We needed a responsive and versatile US IT company to be a one-stop shop for IT services at our US office and also work seamlessly with our IT support contractors in other geographies.

What was the problem you were having before you discovered our service?
Our devices were not all running the same versions, were not getting backed up or updated consistently, and we were unaware of the vulnerabilities in our infrastructure due to lack of reporting and alerts.

What was the problem you were having before you discovered our service?
We had been using a local one man shop who in the beginning was able to service our needs. As both of our businesses became more successful and grew, he was not able to give the type of service that we needed. Chips came recommended to us by a fellow that I knew and trusted. Chips has helped us grow and kept our equipment up to date.

What did the frustration feel like as you tried to solve the problem?
We would call our previous service guy and report a problem. Too many times he would tell us that he would have to look at it tomorrow. This would take an Estimator or Project Manager out of the game for that day.

What was different about our service?
Our equipment is now serviced remotely. In the 5 years that we have used Chips possibly 2 or 3 times the issue couldn’t be resolved remotely, so a service tech was dispatched to our location (that very day) to trouble shoot and fix the problem.

Driving to work at 5:15 one morning not long after we started with Chips. I received a call from Chips (after hours) letting me know that the power was out at our office and the server had done it’s programed shut down to protect everything and what I needed to do once power was restored. Prior to this, we just would have had to dealt with a crash.

Now when I close my eyes, I see a lush green meadow, surrounded by mature trees, with just a very light wind and calm waters on a distant lake.

What was the problem you were having before you discovered our service?
We suffered from a ransomware attack that left us without access to all workstations and most importantly, server data. After a recovery that took two weeks we knew a better solution existed and CHIPS helped put together a continuity plan for us for a quick recovery if an attack happens again.

Having to tell employees that they could not work for many days in a row was extremely frustrating, especially since we had a backup plan in place we should have not been in the situation we were in.

Since starting to work with CHIPS, we have had them help converting our exchange server to a cloud based system instead of in house, and we have gone the entire time without a security beach. They have also cleared our numerous errors that previously existed on our server for years.

Having a functional IT system in place can easily be taken for granted and knowing that we have a reliable and supported system in place we can work more confidently knowing that any issues would be quickly addressed and solved.

As we have grown over the years I have never had to worry about viruses or computers breaking down. Chips Computer Services has always been there to make sure we are protected and our computers keep running.
